Which Content Drives Registrations?

A recent survey conducted by Knowledge Storm of nearly 500 B2B marketers and 2400 content users compares what content end-users are most likely to register vs. what marketers think they will register for. Of note:

  • Whitepapers still rank as the #1 piece of content that end-users register for and that vendors make available.
  • Despite marketers’ thoughts that Webcasts would be the next most popular, end-users are actually more likely to register for a case study.
  • End-users are very willing to register for product literature, while this doesn’t even make the top 5 ranking for vendors.
  • In ranking order, end-users are most likely to register to recieve: Whitepapers, Case Studys, Analyst Reports, Product Literature, and Demos.
